The Great Apostasy or Falling Away — A Familial Letter

(GLARING Hypocrisy) Below is an email recently sent to a family member. Above is an excellent sermon, by Pastor Steven L. Anderson of Faithful Word Baptist Church in Tempe, Arizona, which is likewise on the topic of the great falling away.

That’s good to hear. And thank you for replying.

Of course, I hope and pray that you are well and truly saved. And you might very well be.

But, I’ve grown increasingly concerned about your salvation over time because, in my and many others’ reported experience, when the Holy Ghost is active within there’s a thirst for the Word of God (as opposed to manmade spiritual devotionals, Dan Brown-type novels and “Bible studies” which concern themselves with the philosophy of men: e.g., stoicism, Epicureanism — what in the world?!?), as well as a thirst for truth generally.

So, when you’ve told me, as you have, that you consciously wish not to hear the truth and that you’d rather stay blind to the truth, and when you ignore any/all emails from me which try to share important things with you concerning the Word of God and truth, then it makes me wonder.

Additionally when you’ve told me that you weren’t sure if you’d be going to heaven. To have so little assurance concerning salvation after decades of active church membership is, again, a big red flag. What is your church doing, or not doing, to leave the flock so uncertain, and so vulnerable?

Anyway, it seems I’ve done all I can do.

As a watchman who’s come to understand much about this world as well as the Word of God and the great falling away (Greek: apostasia) which is so clearly prophesied throughout the (real, King James) Bible and which is so clearly now playing out in our world, I have the God-given responsibility to warn everyone I can of what’s at hand. You’ve been privy to my recent email correspondence. You’ve witnessed, firsthand, that no one is interested, yourself included. And, so, you can’t really be surprised any longer when you read that no one wanted to listen to the hard truths that the Old (and New) Testament prophets were tasked with sharing with a rebellious and gainsaying people. For they, too, preferred comfortable lies to hard truths.

Remember, the Pharisees also loved (and continue to love) their synagogues and their manmade traditions. They loved the pomp and circumstance, the religious feasts and holy days. But they failed, utterly, in the only thing that mattered — the choosing of God over the traditions of men.

Virtually all Christian churches, today, have placed the pleasing of men at the forefront, slowly but surely turning them away from the true Word of God, elevating everyone’s touchy feelings rather than preaching the whole counsel of God, speaking smooth things rather than that which they need to hear.

But it’s not at all surprising, any of it. For this is the great falling away, the great apostasy, which we’re warned of in the Bible. And we’re shown that the vast majority of folk, even religious folk, would seize upon the apostasy rather than to do true God service. Just as Satan had calculated a long time ago.

Remember, too, that the Pharisees kept their hands and their cups fastidiously cleaned. And yet Christ likened them to beautifully whited sepulchers which inside were filled with dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. This applies to individuals as well as synagogues and churches. Beautiful to look at, but filled with all manner of filth within. The worst of that filth is in the steering away of unsuspecting men, women and children from the true Word of God to that which is deliberately designed to, again, slowly but surely make the way straight for the Antichrist.

As I wrote in a recent GLARING Hypocrisy post:

Right now, however, the vast majority of humanity is not only in the crosshairs of the satanic Jew World Order, they are, more fundamentally, in the crosshairs of Satan himself. And although Jewpedia reports that 31.5 percent of humanity is Christian, the vast majority of such folk are Christian in name only and have, by default, bought into countless false gospels and other heresies that have been taught to them by false — that is, apostate — Christian religions (e.g., Catholicism, Protestantism, Orthodoxy) which have long been ironing out their differences as a means to join forces, amongst themselves and amongst other false religions (e.g., Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism), to make the way straight for the Antichrist and his satanic one world religion in which, through an outward show of miracles and smoothness, he will condemn to eternal perdition those who are not saved through the true faith-based gospel of Jesus Christ.

When I see you actively resisting the truth — and ignoring all the warnings of the fast-growing apostasy taking place all around us — I grow increasingly concerned that your soul might be at risk in these latter days.

Anyway, I share with you all the above in love.

Love,

Sean
